Ransom Hunter, former slave turned land baron, entrepreneur and community developer did a lot with the little he was given. And we are inspired by the life he led, the choices he made and the way he gave back to the community he created.
We want to shine a light on the men and women who are excelling in academics, and empower those who are planning to start new businesses or expand established ones. It is our goal to also award trailblazers and pioneers in their fields.
Excellency is not an accident, it comes from having a vision, doing the work to make that goal a reality, believing in yourself, working hard and pushing yourself to the finish line.
We are planning a slate of inspired scholarships, grants and mentorship programs to help our community reach their goals. We are also interested in creating programs in collaboration with local businesses and corporations.
